Storytelling as an Educational Tool Workshop
Use storytelling in your classroom activities to enrich student learning, encourage public speaking and add excitement and interactivity to lesson plans.
Workshop materials include a CD with 50 activities that are mapped to Indiana’s Academic Standards and incorporate writing, speaking, and listening skills as well as theater, music, literature, science and art. During this hands-on workshop led by teachers and professional storytellers, participants will actually do many of the activities and will return to their classrooms with months of creative ideas to make teaching the state standards fun!
