Using Storytelling as an Educational Tool will expand the services of Storytelling Arts of Indiana and create a new collaboration with the Indiana Department of Education. This project naturally grew out of our work with the teachers and students attending the annual Hoosier Storytelling Festival. In conjunction with the festival each year, a Teacher’s Guide is developed and placed on the web site. Teachers may then use the activities to tie the festival field trip to the state standards, and curriculum.
