As a “Purveyor of Magic Beans and Seeds of Truth,” I specialize in putting a pulse to the past. Favorite performances include Jack’s Mamastories from the Appalachian oral tradition; historical programs rooted in Indiana’s past, beginning with our first settlers and including shows about the Underground Railroad, the Civil War, and World War 1; and stories of faith and family.

Grants and commissions include those from Storytelling Arts of Inidana, the Indiana Historical Society, Indiana State Museum, Indiana Arts Commission/National Endowment for the Arts, the Lilly Teacher Creativity Fellowship, and Jackson County Public Library
