View More: http://kstopho.pass.us/booth2017Smoke and Mirrors is a storytelling smorgasbord, blending personal tale, tall tale, and folklore. Travel with Adam through small-town Appalachian Americana to smoke themed stories of hotrod cars, hitchhiking trains, blazing castles, and the perpetual wonder of growing-up. Can you see through the smoke and mirrors to determine what is true and what is fiction, or will you find yourself laughing and empathizing at a reflection of your own life?

This will be Adam’s first appearance in Indy. His original stories blend traditional mountain folklore, music, and an awareness of contemporary Appalachia. He has been featured at the International Storytelling Center, the National Storytelling Festival, and the Appalachian Studies Association Conference. His recordings have received two Parents’ Choice Silver Honors and four Storytelling World Awards and Honors. He is a four-time champion of the West Virginia Liars’ Contest. (Bil Lepp still has him beat!) To learn more about Adam Booth visit his websiteDental Center
