The Whole Story: Using Imagery To Extend The Story Experience
The real art of storytelling is restoring the primacy of the imagination in tellers and audiences alike. This presentation, which helps storytellers bring character and setting into sharper focus, is easily adapted to meet the storytelling experience of the audience. The goal is a more precise re-creation of an imaged world, one that has the vividness and conviction of daily living. To register for this workshop call 317-576-9848. Cost: $30/Advance, $40/Door

Workshop presented by Tracy Radosevic
9:30 a.m.– 11:30 a.m.
Indiana History Center Board Room, 4th Floor
Multi-Sensory, Multi-Media, Multi-Dimensional Biblical Storytelling
Howard Gardner's ground-breaking book, "Multiple Intelligences," suggests that different people learn in different ways. It, therefore, behooves any teacher, preacher, or public speaker to keep these differences in mind when preparing how best to deliver a lesson, sermon, or speech. Storytelling naturally lends itself to communication that works well with all age groups and learning styles. This workshop will model ways to incorporate a variety of storytelling methods to better ensure that audiences of all "intelligences" will receive, retain, and recall the experience you intended. To register for this workshop call 317-576-9848. Cost: $30/Advance, $40/Door
