Dr. Matlack has toured the nation with his collection of world folktales, historical stories and personal narratives, performing for audiences of all ages at storytelling and folk festivals, libraries and schools, science and nature centers. His tales about plants, animals, rocks and old-timey folks ultimately teach us about us…about being human.

Storytelling Workshops on Storytelling 101, Story Staging and Using Stories to Teach Science are available. He is available statewide at select times during the work week and on weekends pending clearance from his horse and his dog, Lois.
